Something which has caught my eye today which going through my emails is that Secret Cinema is launching a new venue - The Other Cinema. Described as: "Launching very soon is The Other Cinema, where anyone can set up their own screening. The Other Cinema will screen beautiful and vital films in a mix of non-traditional venues around the world, bringing back a sense of community and wonder to the cinema experience." The Travelling Light is nice little story which is about the beginnings of motion pictures and includes a magic lantern on stage. It is worth trying to get to if you get the chance, and while it is at the National Theatre at the moment it is going on tour.
