Under the terms of the agreement, IMAX plans to make an equity investment in Laser Light Engines, and Laser Light Engines would develop a custom version of its laser light technology for exclusive use in IMAX digital projection systems. Barco releases DCI compliant Series 2 projectors with integrated CineCanvas(TM)subtitling
Kortrijk, Belgium, 22 July 2010 - Digital cinema specialist Barco announced today that its DP2K family of digital cinema projectors is now available with integrated CineCanvasâ„¢ subtitling support. The new functionality can be installed via a simple firmware upgrade. Barco is the first digital projector manufacturer to offer this feature. whinge alert! It has cost me £122 for a return to Coventry for tonight, because I need some flexibility in my departures and because I need to be there by 18.00! The journey is only an hour. I can hire a car, fuel it and probably have enough for a hotel for the same price and it would probably take a similar amount of time. Now justify that to me.
