The Latest Cinema and Exhibition Industry News for 04-01-2011

Hello All,

Nadelik Lowen ha Blydhen Nowydh Da! (or Happy new year) to you all, I hope you had a good Christmas and that 2011 is a good one for you. I have written a review of the news from 2010 which you can find at http://www.madcornishprojectionist.co.uk/2010review.php.

Finally, before the news headlines for the last two weeks, the King's Speech is out this week (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1504320/). You maybe interested to know that the Projected Picture Trust (http://www.ppttrust.org), of which I am the chairman, provided a projector and projectionist for the film in December 2009. If you have a look at the International Trailer you can see a very brief shot of the projector at 1m04secs in, and I believe that the Trust also as a thank you in the credits.
