Something which has caught my eye today which going through my emails is that Secret Cinema is launching a new venue - The Other Cinema. Described as: "Launching very soon is The Other Cinema, where anyone can set up their own screening. The Other Cinema will screen beautiful and vital films in a mix of non-traditional venues around the world, bringing back a sense of community and wonder to the cinema experience." Element Pictures re-open Light House Cinema - Minister for The Arts, Heritage and the Gealtacht, Jimmy Deenihan, has officially re-launched the Light House Cinema in Smithfield in Dublin 7.
