The Latest Cinema and Exhibition Industry News for 24-01-2012

Hello All,

Please find below this weeks news headlines, available as ever from: http://www.madcornishprojectionist.co.uk/todays_news.php. Obviously the big news of the week was the UK Film Policy Review document (111 pages), which is worth reading.

Something which has caught my eye today which going through my emails is that Secret Cinema is launching a new venue - The Other Cinema. Described as: "Launching very soon is The Other Cinema, where anyone can set up their own screening. The Other Cinema will screen beautiful and vital films in a mix of non-traditional venues around the world, bringing back a sense of community and wonder to the cinema experience."
